The Body Roundness Index (BRI) is becoming the preferred metric over BMI because it:

• Better predicts health risks: BRI considers body shape and fat distribution, not just weight
• More accurate for all body types: Works better across different ethnicities and muscle compositions
• Focuses on visceral fat: Measures the dangerous fat around organs that BMI misses
• Simple measurement: Only requires height and waist circumference

Research shows BRI is a more reliable predictor of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and mortality risk than BMI.
